True Dedicated Public Servant

All of my life I have been a person who works hard at whatever I do. Even living in Pennsylvania for a short time where unemployment was close to 29% I would work 3 jobs in order to make ends meet. When I moved back to Michigan, I started a web site development business out of my home. If you have ever started a business, you know how hard it is to do especially with no outside help. I was also taking care of my wife and two young children and a disabled mother. Many times my day would start at 6 am and not end until 2 am or later. In 2000 I expanded my business to computer service and repair and have been working out of my home ever since. It has now been 19 years since I got my first client and they are still with me to this day. I have not gotten rich from my business because money was not my driving force. I wanted a business which I could give good quality service to my community at a fair price and geared toward those who couldn’t afford much. Sometimes it was feast and sometime it was famine but I’m still in business.

My dedication to being your next Congressional Representative is just as strong. To let you know of my dedication, I decided to uproot my life, my business, my family and leave my church and friends and concentrate on the next goal with all the passion I could muster. We officially moved into the district on July 1st, 2014 into a nice house in Davison, MI. My wife was very worried because where she works has great health care benefits. She could transfer but because of Obamacare, many businesses will drop a person down to part time if they do and if that happens she would lose her health care coverage. After many different offers, she finally was offered a full time position just 30 minutes from our house. My business has also struggled because with the move I had to build up my clientele again from the local community.

Let me say that running a campaign, a small business and a household has not been easy but I know that if I get elected, I will work hard for the district and the nation. My plan is to hire people to run my business while I am in office so I can still offer quality service and also have a job to come back to when I leave congress. I have 52 years of life experience behind me, a husband and father to a wonderful family, a small business owner and am asking for your support to help me make a difference. I hear so many people complain about what is going on in this nation but few are willing to do anything about it.

It’s time we vote in public servants who truly care about this country.

Vote Allen Hardwick for Congress on November 8th.
